I agree. We will have 1 if things go great. We have had Heisman worthy guys before and they didn't make it. The award is trash now after some of the recent thugs that have won it. We win championships at Clemson not Heisman and that's how I like it.

The only year that happened was with OU and they were pushing Jackson hard, over video game numbers versus scrubs/U of L holding our entire defense, similar to Texas A&M that year and we were thin on player game ready at that time. OU had Baker and 2 WRs in the the running.

If the Heisman stood for what it's supposed to, then yes, we'd have several candidates; and DW4 would have won one a few years ago. But we'll get snubbed again this year.
However, I'm not bothered, and I doubt the players are either, I'm sure their focus is elsewhere. If you want individual awards, then go play tennis or golf. Football is the ultimate team game, and the only thing that truly matters is which team wins the Natty; and in that, I like our chances.
