For real.
The most people I ever saw in that stadium was when I went to see an Atlanta United soccer game there. I was kind of shocked; I didn't know what Bobby Dodd looked like when it was full.
The stands swayed, by the way. Clearly the old girl hadn't been full up in a few decades. Reminded me a bit of the old Orange Bowl; you aren't just watching a game, you're taking a risk, my man. Carpe diem!

….shooting ducks in a barrel. Tech has lots of attendance issues:
1. Most of alums don't live in the area. Tech grads tend to spread out around the country/world.
2. A third of each class is international.
3. 40% out of state - so didn't necessarily grow up Tech or even football fans.
4. Lot's of kids of alumni no longer able to be admitted to Tech due to incredibly high admissions standards (particularly in recent years).
5. "Big Bang Theory" student body in general.
6. They have absolutely no "sidewalk" or "Wall Mart" fans. UGA owns the state, particularly outside the Perimeter.

Yea,your right.You would think the defending National Champions could get more than 16,000.Besides,have you seen how confined Grant Field is and where it's located( Downtown Atlanta
for crying out loud).
As to the real Death Valley,I could see 20,000 easy.

My last four games there (GT) I have had a field pass. I am wondering now if they are going to be few and far between. That will probably be the only way I can see the game as I doubt that there will be any tickets for the opposing team.
