Which part of this is a "ghetto"

Would really like to know. You do realize the Farmers Market is gone and the Fairgrounds were replanted three years ago?
“The horseshoe is one of the best sites we’ve ever had for College GameDay,” said Lee Fitting, College GameDay Sr. Coordinating Producer. “The picturesque collegiate backdrop creates the perfect setting for the show. Given the fact that a highly-ranked Georgia team is coming to town, it will only add to the excitement of Saturday morning.”

Actually I'd like to see something comparable to the New Farmers Market. Every site also has cable and electric. Saturday also includes a concert by Billy Currington before the game (no comment on that...not a huge fan).
I haven't seen anything like it.

Pretty ironic you say we can't spell "picturesque" yet you can't comprehend what you read. The Sr. Producer said it.
Honest question: Have you ever been/seen the horseshoe?

The Horsehoe is a single, tiny, place on USC's campus....

...and then there's nothing more. The rub is you only have *1* scenic place on the entire USC campus to choose from...Clemson has a never ending supply.

Been there and have seen it and didn't think it was anything spectacular. Never claimed you said it, just that the quote must have been copied and pasted. Notice I said that what the Gameday guy said was laughable. Nice comprehension by you as well sir...

take pictures of about 1/4 of the surrounding stadium pretend all of it looks like that.
Post about the horseshoe as if it is near the Stadium when it is miles away.
FAIL
Your stadium is in a #### area.

Um, that area is much nicer than most of what Clemson has to offer with the nice restrooms, hookups for satellite, power, etc., common areas for concerts. Clemson is rural and benefits from the big trees and open areas. They also have big mud pits when it rains because little has been done to specifically accommodate tailgating.

Sure, the fairgrounds look real nice in those pics. The problem is when you zoom out a bit and notice that it's located in a crapped out warehouse district.

Why do you think they have the set miles from the stadium?

Usually Gameday is within a short walk to the stadium. When they go to SCar they have to be miles away to find something worthwhile as a backdrop.
Is SCar putting the Gameday Crew up at the Whitney? I hear they give a great rate.

They were going to have it at the new farmers market right across the street from the stadium but there is a pre-concert already scheduled there.

What concert will be from 9-12 am?
If the artist is small enough to play a tailgate, the University would have moved them if Gameday wanted the spot.

Yeah, can't imagine why he would want to play in an area where there will be 100+ thousand people and guaranteed air time on ESPN.

LMAO. The artist is Country Artist Billy Currington. He's only had 6 number ones. (sidebar: I'm not a huge fan).
And the reason it's not there is the show, booked months in advance, is sponsored by Lowes.
