I get how impactful he was, but also we were the ones who couldn’t score with bases loaded and no outs… His ejection of Cam was absurd, but win the game in the 9th and it doesn’t matter.

I shouldn't use this analogy, but here goes.
Satan will NEVER tell you a obviously blatant lie. He will tell you truths with just a subtle untruth to make you believe what you are doing is inherently OK. As he progresses in that method, you find yourself so far from the real truth that you begin to believe the outright lies are truth.
This is how I believe the umpires affect the game: they make subtle calls that lead to outright bad calls. And, the NCAA believes those bad umpires are competent.

While our failure to execute cost us the game, if this information is accurate, this guy should in no way sniff a college playoff game. At best incompetent, at worst corrupt.

The info is pretty accurate. He threw Jack Kemp of the Dodgers out for nothing. Kemp and Campos had words and Campos gave him a warning. Kemp yelled at a teammate when he came up to bat "Let's go Dre" and Campos tossed him. Later in the same game Campos tossed the Dodger pitcher, Joe Blanton.
That's not all. He tossed multiple KC Royals in a game too. It makes you wonder about everything else he did that wasn't originally replay reviewed.

It was Matt Kemp. Here's the Dodgers take:
"After the pitch, Campos turns to the Dodgers dugout and says what sounds like, "I don't want to hear you again, I'll tell you right now." Not long after, Campos ejects Kemp. While it may appear Kemp kept arguing, after the game, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said that wasn't the case.
"Guys were barking about pitches. Angel looked over and said, 'I don't want to hear anymore.' Just a little bit later, Matt said, 'Let's go Dre' and got thrown out."
The Dodgers lost the game Thursday and now have to hope they won't lose Kemp to a suspension as a result of the incident.

And other than having butt ugly uniforms, I had absolutely no problem with the Tennessee coaches or players.
That hack sounds like the type that wants to make a difference in a game... not just officiate it. The guy behind the plate was not much better for either team. His strike zone was all over the place.
Regardless we didn’t capitalize when we needed to.

Just read this guy was on the same crew as Joe West and Angel Hernandez in the MLB. If you watch baseball, you know both of those guys would have been fired 20 years ago if the weren’t in a union. Impressive that Campos stood out among them. Really makes you wonder - what the heck did he do?!?!? I’m guessing it was betting on games
I’m sure the ncaa did a reference check 🤣

I will reiterate something that I have often said.
The best officials are the ones that you never even notice. The crew that called the Clemson/UT game definitely did not fall into that category.
