Spring game a crucial part of the recruiting process
Clemson will host somewhere between 115 and 130 recruits for this weekend‘s spring game, an event that should kick off a busy spring and summer of recruiting. What does Thad Turnipseed, Director of Recruiting/External Affairs, say about this weekend? Who are some of the expected recruits that will visit? Full Story » |

Think it's closer to 100000 now and those crazies in Tuscaloosa were all over campus that day. I think the number was close to 90000 but being jealous doesn't help, changing our program will. I think we are on the right track

Spring Game Concert

Why not kick off the spring game with a concert in Death Valley? Bring in Lee Brice or any other artist who is willing and able. Top that off with cutting the red tape and allowing alcohol sales. 40k attendance will slowly become 60-70k. If it's as big a deal as this article is making it out to be. The Athletic Department needs to invest in the event in order to get a big ROI.

I'd love to see your plan for getting a stage up and down without the football field being torn up while keeping a mild budget for non-paying customers.

Its done every night for 30 days straight during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Reliant Stadium. MSG in NYC flips events regularly. Ever watched the super bowl halftime show? Not saying it wouldn't be challenging. Just need to be creative in making the event a better option than the Fraternity tailgate for students.
