If these were our only options, would you rather...
A. Dabo (and Clemson) does not change. We stick with Dabo's strategies to create the culture we want at Clemson. We are a perennial top-20 and an occasional top-10 program. Regularly make the playoffs.
B. Dabo changes. We start to act more like other schools regarding recruiting, portal, NIL, etc. We are a perennial top-10 and an occasional top-5 program. Consistently go deep into the playoffs.

Too many egos....alterior motives.....tampering..and personalities will eventually disrupt our flow and continuous processes.

C. We let Dabo figure out the best way to navigate the new college football landscape without destroying the values and culture he built up. Look at TJ Moore's latest comments. Kids want to come to Clemson for a reason...and it's not money.

C. We don't get a choice and support the Tigers win, lose or draw like I have all my life from Coach Howard to Dabo.

We have tried to get players in the portal.
We are actively trying to get to the SEC. Because of more money.
None of the culture has to change.
But specifically, yeah I’d rather Dabo continue to lean on his principles.
Clemson is 55-14 since the portal opened.

College football is constantly changing. Recently the rate of change has been accelerated. It remains to be seen what certain program elements and characteristics will prove successful year to year in this changing environment.
It is entirely possible that Dabo's way will prove to be very successful in the coming years. Similarly it could go the other way.
As long as the leaders of our programs continue to keep the best interest of Clemson at the forefront of their decisions, then I will be content and continue to support them.

The premise here is IF these are the only options. Of course, we all want Dabo not to change, AND we return to winning national championships. I have my doubts that such an outcome is possible in today's college football. I'm just wondering where the fans will be if we don't return to top 5 status soon. Are we going to be okay with good, not great? Will the boosters? Will the AD? Personally, I am.
