I doubt that Cam Ward’s decision to not play in the 2nd half was made in a vacuum. I betcha that this was done via mutual agreement between Cristobal and Ward.
The closest thing that I can imagine being a good justification by Cristobal to agree to such an abonimable arrangement was that if Cam Ward set the school single season record, then Miami would have been far enough ahead that they would win the game easily.
I am very glad that IA State won if for no other reason than to make Cristobal to be exposed for the idiot that he is -&- to warn the NFL that Cam Ward cannot be trusted to risk 8njurynto himself in order to win games.
I hope that no NFL team touches that prima donna.

I don’t understand Ward’s logic for playing just the first half.
I can understand him sitting out the Pop Tarts Bowl and not risking millions from the NFL, but don’t understand risking it for just a half, especially if he played to set an ACC passing record?
It will be interesting to hear his rationale for sitting out the second half.
Either way, when Miami loses, I’m happy.

Grow a pair. Ward played than anyone, set records, had fun and shut it down. Remember he did not have to play and winning and losing Bowl teams get the same money.
