Are we involved at all with this guy? Just a Sophomore and 6-1 200lbs. He is better IMO at this stage than the Mountainview / Broome kid was at his age. He has four offers at this point, but what is our level of involvement?

Woodruff breeds football players for sure. Tony Rice being the best.

I hope if he fits the Clemson culture of success we recruit him hard and smack that emergency button letting him know we do want him at home, Clemson.

Woodruff hasn’t been much since ‘83,84 which is over 40 years ago lol. Rice was recruited by Clemson but probation at that time perhaps swayed him away. He was a great college player but ended his playing days in the CFL. Rice was in Holtz first signing class at ND.

I don't think probation had anything to do with it. He was recruited well by Holtz to a stellar institution and had an outstanding career there. He made an excellent choice for him.

Idk if we're involved but he's a good RB. He'll be a Jr and this year will tell more about him than last. They graduated their entire OL, his patience behind a new OL will be key. He's a good kid from what I little interaction I had with him last season. He's crazy athletic, plays basketball too but his bread and butter is football. I'm sure CU will be keeping an eye on him.
