He feeds into the Shamecock faithful and thats it. People are over reacting. If anything, take it as a complement that the gamecocks need us to feel successful.
Great win today Clemson Bball.
GO TIGERS!

I agree with you. He is playing to his fans. Nothing wrong with that since he is backing it up on the field.

U don't get the players involved and let their record speak to itself .. Should dabo then respond by referencing the clown and beasly and how the later outshined the former ? It can get ugly and I don't like players involved

Good point.
I think Spurrier overstepped with the reference to Watkins. (and does so every time he mentions Clemson) I think he makes himself look good in the eyes of South Carolina fans, but makes himself and the South Carolina program look bad to educated people... Obviously, beating Clemson is a big deal to his fan base, so he's going to promote that as long as he is doing so.
Clemson has an opportunity to shut him up next year in Death Valley. Hopefully they will do so and show him how to win with class in the process.

Sammy played every game, rewrote the record book, played hurt in the OB, and was named MVP?

He doesn't care.
He's trying to keep his fan base and the media preoccupied so no one takes him to task on why they didn't even win the SEC East. (especially in a down year)

pay no attention to the losses to UGA and UT, but we beat Clemson 5 years in a row and finished in the top 10 again, heck top 5!

....and as I have been reminded time after time from Clemson fans, like George Rogers against Clemson....Sammy Watkins never scored against South Carolina....

I was talking about Clowney, not Ellington. Clowney never scored against Clemson, either, did he?
I think maybe CHAD JASMIN would be a suitable comparison to Ellington.

But keep the athletes out of it. I'm a pretty peaceful and fair giving human being for the most part, but Spurrier is a piece of $hit and will die a very lonely death.
