Would have rather gone to the Pop Tarts Bowl won and than lose in the CFP?
Personally I’m proud of this team. They were a huge improvement from last year and next year will be even better. Get off the ledge, quit drinking and support your (supposedly) team.

That's subjective. They've won the rivalry and beat good teams and had a shot at getting into the playoffs. We did what exactly? Become the champs of the worst Power 4 conference and beat a bunch of nobodies.

To the bottom feeders from mid-state, a 10-win season would be like winning the NATY. To Clemson it was an unsuccessful season.

South Carolina had a better team, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t improve. Would you rather us use portal to build a team to win this year, but go 2-10 like FSU did the next? To me improving this season and even more next year is more important than basing the season on one game. There is more to play for than beating the Gamehens. This isn’t 1995 anymore.

Easy question to answer. You pay people because you expect them to perform their jobs to that supposedly deserved salary. We pay a coaches a top 5 salary and they have failed at their pays worth for a few years now. Bringing it up keeps the reminder that we should expect better.

I would assert it’s to say he isn’t worth it. So whats the real world outcome? He isn’t given money back, he isn’t getting fired. So what’s the end goal of bringing it up?

Did West or Bowden ever beat a top 10 South Carolina team? Did West or Bowden We win a conference championship or play for a national championship? We were in the CFP this year and had a chance to beat a top 5 Texas team on the road. Bowden or West never got close to doing that.
If next season isn’t better than this year, then we should be upset. I’m really proud of the way this team improved and didn’t give up in tough situations.
Don’t judge a season on beating the Gamecocks. We are better than now. The Gamehens haven’t been in the playoffs, so beating us is all they have. We play for championships. They play to beat us because they are our little brothers.

The program has been on this average season trajectory for going on five years now. So we should wait until next year to get upset if things don’t improve? Due to Dabo’s in house hiring, putting off using the portal to our advantage, recruiting misses, poor development, etc., the program is now years behind others, including the coots.
We had embarrassing losses to Louisville and USUCK at HOME.
Clemson backed into the ACC Championship because Miami lost. Clemson beat a mediocre SMU team to barely get into the playoffs. Wes’ defense made Jennings and Sellers look like Heisman candidates.
There is no excuse for Clemson Football to be in the position it’s in now compared to where it was just a few years ago. It’s all on Dabo Swinney to put his ego aside and do what he’s paid to do. Win games and lead the team to a successful post season. Fans don’t pay hundreds/thousands of dollars in tickets and hotels to attend games and watch half ### football.

South Carolina had a better team this year, but it doesn’t mean we had a bad one. You need to remember the portal changed the game. Remember what happened to FSU this season? What if that happened to South Carolina next year? Would you still be calling for Dabo to fire everyone if we went 14-2 and made the national championship game and South Carolina went 2-10?
As I said, Clemson (the team we should be concerned about, not the Gamehens) was a better team this year than last. We aren’t elite like we were from 2014-220, but we improved a lot from last year. We won our conference, made the CFP and a chance to win in the 4th quarter against a very talented top 5 Texas team. College football has changed. A team can be great one season and completely stink the next (remember LSU in 2019, what happened to them in 2020 and 2021?) and I’d rather have consistency than not.
Dabo is rebuilding the program and learning how to adapt to the new game. I’m very proud of this team this year and think everyone else should be too. To me, next season is the measuring stick. If we don’t improve, then we should be worried.

I would trade a win over the coots and a pop tarts win for a playoff loss! This season for sure because we were not a natty contender. This answer changes yearly. I only want in tbe playoff when we truly have a chance at winning the whole thing.
