game, and had some thoughts. Louisville should have had a chance to win that game. The first play was a horrible play call. That freshman quarterback made Auburn look slow. If we can not keep him in the pocket we could be in for a long night. Thinking possibly using Travis Blanks as a spy on him all night. He looked real uncomfortable in the pocket, and when under pressure made some throws that could have been picked off. The secondary with all Georgia players could have had 5 maybe 6 interceptions. All in all Louisville looks like a top 25 football team, and it is going to be a good one on Sep. 17.

I don't think Blanks can match up with that guy.***

Not sure if you saw the play that UL was driving, I think in the Red Zone, and fumbled. AU picked it up and scored a TD on that fumble. If UL doesn't fumble on that play, that might have been a 14-point turnaround and UL would win that game. AU was lucky IMO.

Tell me of this cat bird seat. What is a cat bird seat? I have oft wondered. I could Google it, but that is not as much fun as posing the question here.

Catbird seat

Catbirds are small songbirds (about the size of a bluebird). They sing non-stop. The deal is that they always hide, usually in dense foliage of large shrubs. The catbird's seat, thus, provides cover for "singing" at will while still being protected and able to see all that's going on.

The birds also perch in the highest point they can.

It also means an advantageous place. Sitting pretty. In sports it's often used in baseball. A batter with a count of 3 balls and no strikes is said to be sitting in the catbird seat.

Cover Zero. Kearse as the spy.
End of interview.
Louisville plays like a bunch of undisciplined misfits just like their coach. They can't compete with us.
And Auburn is not as good as us either.
That one will be a snoozer.

I sure hope you're right about that. I expect to have to bring it to win in their house on a Thursday night. Can't have another -2 turnover game.
