would bring if he put himself on the market? My goodness! Has the whole world gone mad? Thank God Cade wants to be at Clemson and always has and from what I understand has plenty of money........but can you imagine what he would bring if his agent shopped him around? Somehow, some way, this insanity has got to stop and I don't see it happening any time soon, probably until the TV bubble bursts, which it inevitably will.

That’s probably what we’ll end up paying him.

Some other school(s) will offer ~$6M, but CK2 will agree to less money to stay with us. Clemson FB is aligned for him to have a near sure thing tremendous season next year; this applies to both overall W - L and the offense. He’ll get tremendous Sr season exposure because we’ll win a lot of games + probably be in the 12 team playoffs again. It’s unlikely that he’ll be in position to get a better audition for the NFL than he’ll get by sticking it out with us.

Not if the defensive issues aren’t shored up. If the D stays status quo, then his senior season will be wasted! IMO

It won't stop until we get a "salary cap" and "free agency season" installed... and that won't happen as long as the NCAA oversees it.

The NCAA can't win a single lawsuit.

You need to read this long article which explains why Duke and other schools are spending their NIL money now before the House aettlement goes into effect next year. I am not smart enough to summarize it. Players may or may not not get this kind of pay after July 2025.
