they have been issued a uniform by the SMU staff. If they win they will get a huge bonus to their already received check. Sounds like the FSU team of last year.

One thing we’ve seen out of heavy portal mercenary teams is they fold quickly when adversity surfaces. If we punch them in the mouth and don’t let up they most likely fold the tent.

Lashlee will probably lose many from this team. They'll have to keep on doling out large payments just to keep it going. Indeed, it seems like FSU II? Although, it also appears as though SMU has tons of money. From all accounts they are not even concerned about no money from the media rights. Without the ability to pay off players, SMU is nothing more than a decent Group of Five program.

Maybe, but SMU has some very wealthy alums. I suspect they have all the NIL funds necessary to work the portal.
