What are the chances Brad won’t be able to field a full roster next year . He basically needs a whole new team with the graduations and portal losses . We have 1 player back with Dillon Hunter and that is all right now. I would think most good portal guys want. a team that is established and ready to win , and right now we are starting over with only 1 player remaining. Unless the freshman are ready now to compete this will be a distaster .

2 redsirts are back hopefully. 3 signees that are pretty highly ranked are coming in. So that is about 6 returnees. He needs to get about that many from the portal. I dont count JZ because I hope that is a pleasant surprise. He has recuited better of late so maybe someoen likes us and reclassifies to come in earlier but there is no indication of that.

Each transfer Brad has brought in has been an upgrade over the outgoing, and we are upgrading everywhere this time around. I'm already researching accommodations for the Final Four in Indianapolis. I can hardly believe our incredibly good fortune here.
The best is yet to come.

This works when you need a player or 2 but replacing the whole Team and /or starting 5 is hard. No continuity or chemistry from playing together for years .

My sarcasm meter was turned-off and I missed your humor there.
Why would our AD want to propose a 6-year contract to a coach whose team looked terrible for the last 3 games and then lost 93% of his team (and about 95f of scoring) to graduation and the transfer portal.
Will they win 10 games next year?? I don't think so.

We will have a roster. They will be paid. The question will be if they are worth the money.
They should do some open tryouts like football did. I’m sure there are a couple of prospects crushing intramurals.

If it's a numbers issue come mid-January after football season wraps Dabo can lend Brad a few bodies. Nuk did that his freshman season here, Brad's first also. We only had 9 on the roster then prior and still made it to an NCAAT.
