I think he will I don’t see us losing a game with Trevor Lawrence at QB. With the stellar recruiting that Dabo and company is doing. I mean our team is filled with 4 and 5 star talent and have depth. Wide receiver position looks like a strength. Then running back looks equally as good. I have a feeling this team going to average 50pts a game. Heck might score 80 on the coots. I’m so excited about football season. Go Tigers ??

I’m a die hard Clemson fan and a Lawrence fan. However I don’t see every game being won while he is here.

Call me superstitious, but I don't think we should tempt fate by discussing this sort of thing. Even if you have the superior team, it only takes one off day, a couple of dubious calls from a referee, an opponent playing their best ever game, or just a bit of bad luck, and defeat can happen.
Plus, you should always remember your proverbs, such as pride comes before a fall. Let's not boast about how awesome we are, but leave that to others, whilst we carry our talent and success quietly.
Let's be humble in victory, and if/when it happens, gracious in defeat.

Were on a roll for sure but I think that is an unrealistic expectation. We can slip up like any team can..I hope Trevor wins every game don’t get me wrong.....some of the posters on tnet sound so crazy at times. Like a lottery winner w new money....let’s enjoy the the ride and Best is standard. Sometimes our best will win and sometimes it might not. Trust me I’m enjoying it., I was in school during the Ken Hatfield purple days. Go Tigers!

If I were to bet I would bet no, in my heart I would hope yes. Just looking at the college landscape right now if he does lose it will probably be in a playoff setting but we will have to help the other team, right now talent wise we are ahead of everyone but "bama and we lead them in the most important place QB and WR regardless of what the talking heads say!

So you should expect more of the same.
And it took some miracle play to beat his team in HS his senior year with 12 seconds left.
If we lose with him it will have to be some kind of miraculous performance. Sure we will have close calls, but you have to like our chances.

The potential is there but it is hard to imagine that for 45 straight games, we dont have some off game against a good team that hits their A+ game against us. Injuries, hot teams, football weirdness.. 3 seasons is a long time to not get bitten by that. Happened in 2016 & 2017.

you seem to be describing a Syracuse scenario. That game still stings, but we had good players and coaches - just wasnt our day. No doubt it could happen again.

Not sure if just semantics, but TL16 played in the SU game last year, but left injured, and Chase Brice won the game. TL16 was losing at the time he was injured, so not sure how to interpret the OP as there are multiple ways to read that.
