Enough to win the series this weekend?

I'm guessing their fans are asking the same question***

"IDIOT POSTER OF THE MONTH SO FAR...GWP-- You have won IPM Award for your failure to completely comprehend a clear post & then choose to attack someone who points out your ignorance. While you are not yet in the same No Class Catagory as deRoberts, ClemTiger117 & Tigerdug23, you are getting closer to the Sewer Dwellers." - coachmac

Supposed to chilly and windy for baseball in Cootlumbia, so pitching usually wins on those type of days.

The coots' Friday night starter has absolutely amazing stuff.

Mid 90s fastball with a power slider that are both big league level pitches.

Weatherly is going to have to be on fire again for us to stay in the game and have a chance to win it late.

If he is throwing that slider that is down and away from right handed batters we will be in trouble. That is what was so effective for ETSU in our last game. Our guys are going to have to lay off that pitch. There were times our batters did not come within a foot of the ball!

I have to admit I know nothing of what kind of team the coots will be fielding. I am not optimistic after seeing our hitting so far this year.

The question is ..... can Clemson play small ball? I’ve never seen them even try to do that!

You must not remember the latter part of the Leggett years where he had players like Andy D'Allesio (our cleanup hitter) laying down sac bunts with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs. TNet used to crucify Leggett for that.

That being said, if we have runners at 1st and 2nd and no outs, with anyone not named Davis Sharpe or Hackenburg at the plate, we should be squaring to bunt this weekend.

We don’t know how good our pitching is really , they look good vs teams they absolutely should look good against.
We will find out tonight, something tells me 5+ runs will be need to win .
