Ok now me. Playing UConn? That shouldn't even count as a game. Just ridiculous scheduling to foist this dud on us as a real game regardless of who is on the other team.

Sure UConn is bad but this is what our team needs to work on fundamentals. Hopefully this serves as a great practice for Wake next week.

they certainly do and have had weeks to work on them. An undermanned opponent isnt going to give you much in a few hours in game you havent already worked on

If that isn't this year in a nutshell... working on fundamentals to get ready for the big game with Wake next week.
100% true (and I'm excited for it) but it would have come out of your chrystal ball as a punchline, last year. He'll of a year for us and a heck of a year for Wake to get us to this point.
If NC State finds a way to lose another game, it will decide the Atlantic title.

Wake will need to lose again as well bc UNC game didn't count as a conference loss unfortunately. GO TIGERS!!!!

Clemson would hold a tie breaker over wake because they’d both have two losses and Clemson would hold the tie breaker. Pitt is a non atlantantic division loss but that is still a conference loss just like wake losing to UNC? When you have zero idea what you’re talking about best to say the same? NC has to have three losses in conference for us to win the Atlantic. Not happening

For Clemson to get to ACC Championship, the following must happen:
Clemson beats Wake.
Wake loses to Clemson + one other ACC team (the UNC game last Saturday did not count as a Conf.Game)
NC State loses 2 other ACC games.
We are running low on 'last chances' for us to get to ACC Championship game, but it still theoretically possible.

Against UConn, we get to play the starters for limited time (to keep them sharp) and also importantly to get the 2nd and 3rd string some meaningful minutes in a 'real game.'
This gives the 2nd and 3rd stringers some real 'game environment' experience and does not cost us a loss.
We need at least one UConn type game every year, and in 2021 we got two such games (UConn & SC State).
I'm good with it.

Have any of you looked to see what powerhouse team Alabama plays this week? Look it up.

Mighty New Mexico State. You guys have no clue how weak New Mexico State is. There's absolutely nothing around Las Cruces, New Mexico and they are 1-8 on the season. But, hey, they should keep right on whining.
