Our defense had immense pressure on it all year long, because our inept offense couldn't sustain meaningful drives. Not saying the defense didn't have some issues, too, especially in the backend, but have a better offense, and you'll be amazed at how good the defense appears.

Because we had a DC that is way in over his head and did not know what he was doing. Took a roster with a top five defense and made it pedestrian.

one of those "chosen ones" whose NFL draft position was preordained coming out of high school. It didn't matter whether coaches in college screwed him up or not, NFL scouts saw potential that was NFL worthy, and could easily be adapted to the league.

I just hope he can stay healthy and not have all the horrible issues he's had to deal with in his future. IMO, another year, a really solid year, would have helped him, but the "experts" think different. I hope they are right, and Bryan is one of the best ever. I hope he plays for Ella (and for his family, including his Clemson family) and balls out. Best of luck, Bryan!

Just like all fans we think coming back ‘another’ year will help. A projected #6 pick is not helped by anything other than staying healthy.
Hate it, but he needs to go. If you saw his tape in h.s. Then you saw his cat quickness and strength.
He is more than ready.

He is more than ready.
He’s not even projected in the top 15 anymore. Most the mock drafts I see now have him going late first rd. Early 2nd rd. His missing game issues and all the injuries I think have some NFL scouts hedging their bets.

It would seem that his injury history would make him a real risk to take with your first pick that is top 10-15 and supposed to make a big impact on your team. Someone would possibly be getting a steal in the late first or early second round if he does slip that far. Huge talent that hasn't been able to stay on the field the last 2 years unfortunately. Maybe his luck will turn around though.
