next play he gave HJ the money sign, to spend time/clock.

Hunter makes a great play on the ball, then inexplicably runs out of bounds even after being coached both plays specifically to run clock.

It's a great teaching moment and unfortunately also showed the moment was bigger than HJ. He'll learn and sometimes more from his/our mistakes.

Glad he and all of them are Tigers.

My guess is that he was coaching to two things:

1-Fall on the ball to protect the possession and himself
2-Know the situation. He should have fallen on the ball, or at least stayed in bounds to finish the clock.

He'll learn from it and get better. Sad we didn't get to see throw the ball, but the point was to get him in the game and get a few reps.
