There’s no way he’s the fastest on the team. Dabo said it when Wiggins was still on the team and Turner isn’t running a 4.28. No way he’s faster than Wesco.

They offered extreme pay for play dollars, still against the rules, before revenue sharing was legalized and NIL deals were checked. We are not going to outspend Texas but that has never been what makes Clemson special.

That's an interesting subject, because I would bet that a very small percentage of college students today could pass a 70's High School Civics final exam.
Heck I'd go on to say most of our Congress would fail a 70's High School Civics exam based on the fact that they think the United States government is a democracy.

Texas Tech has been amazingly smart and efficient. They aren't just throwing money around and they aren't buying players from Clemson and Ohio State. They are getting players from Northern Illinois and Central Florida. The biggest programs they portaled from Georgia Tech and Stanford.
Also that head coach like Dabo has created a fantastic culture within the team. Everything they are doing is legal. I've followed it a bit and its really something to behold.

The other component somewhat ironic is that the lead Texas Tech money man is the lead fighter against all this NIL mess and he's fighting the likes of the SEC and B1G. I fully support him in this.

Get used to it. They claim the playing field is leveled, but really, it has just changed to the richest will win out. Sure there will be some new players and we will all hear how great it is for the game, but mostly the ones will the money will dominate

I dunno. Will Harvard now invest into football? Money is only part of it but at least it gives teams the opportunity to play if they choose. It used to be the whole thing was rigged to the blue bloods.
