Why is everyone blaming the coaches today?

At least on offense it’s the players that aren’t executing. Beautiful play call with Williams open deep and DJ underthrows it. Streeter is doing all he can do from the booth. Goodwin seems to have made the necessary 2nd half adjustments as well

Exactly, players have to execute. Simple as that

Because the players are the ones who should have grace and room for error. Not the coaches. The drive on ToD was absolutely idiotic play calling

Outside of a few downs where I thought were too predictable and did not put our players in a position to succeed…. It definitely wasn’t the coaches fault today. DJ was just really really off. Overthrown balls, late late throws, not seeing his progressions, not taking off when you had wide open fields. About as bad as I have seen him play

Streeter called a terrible game on the whole. He needs to wake up and realize DJ is not Deshaun. Let’s be honest all he did was call the RPO pretty much everyone play in the second half. There was no balance.
Yes the turnovers hurt, but there were some flat out terrible play calls that killed drives. The speed option with DJ is not where it is at.
I am all about running the ball but he has fallen in love with the backs in the passing game and we are a little run heavy. This could have taken DJ out of rhythm.
How many passes have we completed to a WR not named Williams in the past 2 weeks. He needs to scheme for these guys and he does not.
He is slightly better than Tony but not by much.

What game were you watching???
Plays were there to be made all day because the calls were good. Players just didn’t come close to executing

Agree. Gameplan appeared to be RPO which is DJ's weakness. Scheme needs to center around Running backs, Williams, and TE's (Outs/Seams). Sprinkle in some 50/50 balls to Ngata/Collins/Randall. QB run only needs to be supplemental depending on how the D is keying.

Look at the game stats moron. Obviously you were not watching the same game the rest of us were.
Look at first downs per team, total yards per team and turn overs. The coaches called a great game on both sides of the ball.
The PLAYERS committing FOUR turnovers is all that kept the game close.
Streeter’s poor play calling racked up almost 500 yards of offense against a top 2 defense.
You need to do two things. Check the facts so you know what you are talking about. And two, you need to grow up.
