and either WVU or Kansas while the pickings were easy? Short sighted educrates trying to be goody two shoes thinking everyone should play fair. Well, they are now well aware of the situation at hand a day late and a dollar short. Can't say I blame FSU, and for all the self aggrandizing its at least got the attention of all the Women's Lacrosse schools in the ACC.

The money has to be right, and the other schools have to want to join. Those schools would get much more money, and they would have yo dignity the GOR, so there isn't much incentive for them.

BLUF: NIL, conference realignments and transfer portal are ruining NCAAF and I’m really losing interest in the ‘big three’ of college sports.
But seeing those names in your post definitely represent some great programs - with the inclusion of a great golf program at OSU. But then any interest or enthusiasm I may have had is snuffed out when I think back to the above.
I don’t think I’m the only one with an eroding interest…. sigh.
Well, at least now I know some guy named Frank is the culprit behind all this. 😉

Agreed. The ACC and PAC should have split up the Big 12 leftovers when they had the chance and finished them off. Massive blunder by both conferences but on par with two idiot conferences that tried to align with the Big 10 and got robbed when they weren't looking.

The only common sense answer is ignorance and mismanagement. . .just a continuation of the previous Commissioner. And what makes all of this even more comical is the handshake agreement between the B1G, PAC 12, and ACC. Boy, that went over like a turd in the punch bowl.

If you look at the actions of the ACC in terms of JOB SECURITY for ACC office administrators, their actions make perfect sense -- they just wanted a cushy job and their retirement package. And the GOW is perfect for them. And this is the point -- they were NOT looking out for the best interest of Clemson or FSU. But the AD/president at Clemson and FSU should know this, and be constantly working for our best interest. That's why I think that FSU is taking the right approach.
