week before many of their schools play their big SEC rivals. Maybe if it affected some of the conference's North Carolina schools they would change things; but since it basically just affects Clemson, FSU, and Ga Tech the conference probably does not really care.

Just playing in the SEC with the best football in America means you only play patsies for OOC games. I mean with tough opponents such as Kentucky and Vandy. UGA looks better. Florida and Tennessee seem to be tougher this year, but time will tell. Bama and LSU are at the top, but we will see about the rest.

Not sure we want to get in a strength of schedule debate at this point. Last I saw, we were around #40 and they were #10 or something like that.

we have played an sec, a mac, and an fcs from within the state. they have played the perennial bottom dweller in the sec ( when usuc is not occupying that spot), ecu and uab- not perennial powerhouses. we can't help that the sec is a 2 league team, everyone said that the sec was the best so we scheduled them, and look at what has unfolded within the sec, 2 good teams and a bunch of mis-fits!

ACC rivalry games to build the SEC reputation.
If nothing else, the ACC should allow us to play Duke every year the week before SC.

They have 4 or 5 teams on their schedule from their conference that are ranked which gives them enough strenght of schedule to not have to worry with scheduling OOC.
