It’s not about what they do to their own body (example: getting a covid vaccine), but about what they’re doing to the child’s body growing inside them.

your “their own body” statement.
What is humanity? Is it the same as personhood?
The wonders of science and medicine clearly demonstrate a fetus is human and is genetically distinct from its mother. It is hopelessly dependent, yet very likely to become independent (unlike the terminally ill, severely disabled, etc.). The data on the likelihood of a fetus to become a human adult is quite clear as well…
Does a human have rights? Does a person have rights? When does a human “become” a person with rights? If such a distinction can be drawn prenatal, what prevents such a change in consideration in other states of total dependence?
Why does the cultural current seem so preoccupied with the liberation and autonomy of young children to reinterpret their own birth sex into something else of their own making, and yet maintain such a staunch refusal to consider the personhood of ones who are extremely statistically likely to become average human adults?
Couching this position in presumptive language like “pro choice” does not change the fact that it requires steel-willed myopia to deny human life begins at conception and that human life is, at any living point, not personhood.
It’s an increasingly baseless position grasping desperately at polarizing, presumptive social labels (women’s rights, freedom of choice, etc.) to attempt to remain intellectually viable as a political stumping point.
