It is a great play to utilize talented wrs without having to throw. Any thoughts?

I was wondering that myself. I only remember running it about four Orr five times all year. When we ran it we gained about 15 yards per play. I gues TE would rather run the ball up the middle 30 times a game and the screen pass about 15 times

It helps to have a jet to sweep with. Do we have one of those now?

It is hard to believe we don't have ANYONE speedy enough to successfully run a jet sweep. Do we only recruit slow dudes? I hope not!!!

We lost Will Taylor on a jet sweep. It’s just not working

as well as it has in the past.
Our current personnel don’t execute it very well.

Good point, but they really don’t execute anything well. At least it would be a little wrinkle, and I would surely like to see it more than the bubble screen.

The screens aren’t working because our WRs don’t block

And our snap throws out there aren’t on time or accurate. We don’t hit the receiver quickly and many times we throw behind him.
It’s just been a host of little issues that have added up to a lack of effectiveness on offense.

Because other than the coot game in 2014 it rarely ever gained yards. Just like screens rarely work. Our perimeter blocking has been terrible for many years.

Easy. We don't have anyone fast enough to more than a prop sweep.

I hear you guys, and I agree with the personnel issues to a degree, but we still have some dudes at wr. We definitely don’t have the personnel to keep running it up the middle, but we do it anyway. We don’t have the personnel to keep running screens, but we do it anyway. We don’t have the personnel for the quarterback to hold on to the football for long developing plays, but we do that anyway. Not saying I have the answers, would just like to see it more often. Maybe I’m just missing the old Sammy Watkins days.

Because running a jet sweep means missing an opportunity for another bubble screen.

Better to execute four plays poorly, than a whole bunch of them poorly, I guess.

To freeze the LBs for a little longer at the snap. It helps take pressure off the OL.
We don’t do anything to help our OL. “We just don’t do that “

"COME ON MAN" ! Why use something that works when you can use the more popular Rob Spence bubble screen, which didn't work then and ain't working now.

Either that or repeated runs up the middle into a brick wall, even on 3rd and 8?
