Hood has already said Wes is no longer with the program is what he is hearing. Nothing official yet. It won't be official until it needs to be official.

This has been said here before, but it's worth repeating. It is in Clemson's best interest to help Goodwin "land" somewhere before the announcement of his dismissal is made.
It is also the right thing to do for the outgoing employee, out of respect to them. Complicating things further are the HR and state employee laws and regulations.

these guys have been on holidays - Dabo has been focused on retention of players until the last few days. I’m sure that was known internal prior. There is separation paperwork and processes that would have to be completed that would involve more than Dabo/AD. The rest of the university has been closed. Unless Wes wants to share info publicly(he could also be prohibited) or he’s announced somewhere else or until there is a need to announce a new guy what’s the worry here as news being public has no bearing on anything.

We knew Goodwin and Streeter were bad promotions, but Dabo's blind loyalty set the program backwards. Wishing, hoping, or praying in Dabo's case, will not make a guy right for the job. I wish loyalty didn't trump all sanity for Dabo.

Weird how the HC gets to decide who to hire and fire. Looks to me as if he does make corrections though rest assured it is when he decides to do so and not as a response to TNet.

He was offered a position (presumably in the booth) but refused. He is moving on.
Dabo hasn’t commented yet, and I think he wants a new guy in place before he does. Hence, the holdup.

Since Dabo is still out of town, as of Thursday, we should not expect any official statements. He may also be waiting to have a press conference to do it at the same time as he lets the media know who Wes’ replacement is.
