No, and don't even try giving your honest opinion concerning anything about anything, bc you will get hammered with TDs if you do that. And don't tell what you believe is the honest truth, they don't like that here either. Just agree 100% with the T-Net favorite posters, and that will get you all the TU's you want even though 20 million TU's won't get you a packet of salt!!!

I was not disappointed or over enthusiastic about Streeter. He had been in the program since 2014 so imo he should have been ready for that job.

I agree. The Chad brought us something new and a little bit ahead of its time. He had studied this scheme and tweaked it and learned from the ones that created it. He understood the scheme and could adjust to every situation. After he left we ran the same concept but with folks that did not create or invent or understand it other than reading off the play sheet. It worked as long as we had Trevor and Deshaun who actually changed plays at the line. Once we needed some creativity and talent at OC because of an average to below average QB they were exposed. My wife actually said many times why did the OC not develop the offense around what DJ could do best. You can not change DJs skill set but you can change the scheme to match his skill set. The fact that this was never done tells me Streeter is only a play caller off of the sheet. I actually believe Elliott adjusted to DJ better that Streeter. Last year we went to a running team and beat SC 30 to nothing. We needed to bring someone from outside with a new scheme who understands the scheme and can adjust to our personnel just like we did when Chad was brought in.

This is true. The grass seems always greener in someone else’s pasture. I believe Streeter was handicapped by DJ but if he is a great OC he should have handled that better. I could be wrong but I believe and time will tell that Riley could have been much more successful with DJ.

If you want a serious answer, mine would be that we have someone inventive and successful who will come in and re-tool the entire offense much like Morris did when he came in.
And hopefully, we will have equal or better results...
