Sure FSU is down now; but take Bammer out the discussion and Clemson out the ACC would still have a team with a Natty in recent years(your time span). That's parity unlike the second conference that relies on big bad bammer for all it's glory!

I'll flip this. The ACC hasn't won any titles. Clemson and FSU have. Conferences do not matter. The team each school fields is the only thing that matters. Conference chest pumping is reserved for those schools (UofSC) that actually don't contribute anything on the field and have to rely on the success of others to feel good about their pathetic season.

Well, you never seen an ACC team finish 3rd in the conference and be claimed a national champion...

But wasn't that when the NCAA and the sec were allowed to appoint who they wanted to play in the NCG. That system was flawed, but they will never admit it, and punished could be bestowed whom ever makes those accusation against the NCAA/SEC in a public forum, and that's why no one never has!!!

Not to nitpick, but Clemson is the only ACC team to win the CFP. FSU won the last BCS title, then got blown off the field by Oregon in the first CFP.
