If Monte misses the postseason in any of the next 5 years he is a goner. Expectations of annual postseason play are inherent for Clemson baseball. Basketball needs to make the Big Dance 2-3 times every 5 years so Brownell has a bit more leeway in my opinion.

When's the last time Clemson basketball made it to the Final 8 of the NCAA tournament? Pretty sure Larry Nance was in orange and I wasn't out of kindergarten. Making it to Omaha is making it to the final 8 of the baseball tournament, but missing the tournament all together (like Monte and the boys did last year) has happened only 2 times in the past 40ish years.

Believe Brad got contract extension through 25-26 season in October 21. Think he would get 25k per month for remainder of contract if terminated after this season.

I would rather stay average through the end of the contract then waste the money to pay him to leave. Not like we are knocking down the door on a national championship one way or the other.

Brad definitely had pictures of Drad, hopefully doesn’t have any pictures of Neff, he may be gone this year hopefully. I’ve always said, I’d rather take a chance on a guy who may actually be able to win the league, then a guy that we know will not, But will safely have us in the middle of the pack

Not what I want to see but I could see a BOGO coming in April if - Lee and the baseball team get off to a terrible start and Brownell and MBB team doesn't play in the post season.
