Whats up with Linthicom being on the 3d team? Isnt he a senior this year? I thought he was a highly recruited O Lineman. Is he injured? Or just a bust?

Should be a Junior. High school teammate of BB11 but was a year behind him. He has been underwhelming after a lot of hype before he arrived.

Seems like he’s been bouncing around everywhere except his best position

By 1 source. He wasn't a huge miss. He was rated as a 3 star by 247, the 42nd interior OL, and th 21st rated player in Maryland. He is far from a bust.

Leigh from the same class also has been missing in action, but the coaches say he's been looking good in practice.

supposed #1 center in his class holding down THIRD STRING on our depth chart! See, you can spin anything.
I used to bring him up as a swing and a miss, too. But, every time I did, I got my hand whacked with a ruler for trying to pass judgement too early on him.
Every once in a while, you get a kid who just comes to college, finds out you can eat really well for free on scholly, gets fat and happy, and could care less about seeing the field. I could be completely wrong, but that is what I think when his name comes up. I don't think he ever takes a meaningful snap for us. If he does, we have been decimated by the injury bug again.

Love the part about "eat really well for free on scholly, gets fat and happy, and could care less about seeing the field"!
I agree 76er. Not neccessarily about Lithicom perse. But, this is a big thing as far as recruiting goes. We probably don't have to deal with it as much as other schools; because we try to get high charaecter people. Other schools probably deal with that mentality by "not renewing the scholarship"!
I hope this isn't the case and he still has time to find his groove. But, no doubt exactly what you stated happens where kids don't want to put in the work to succeed at the colleg level. In H.S. if you're bigger and stronger than everyone; your lack of work ethic doesn't always show itself. Again, not saying that's the case here at all, IDK. But, it happens! With N.I.L I can see it happening more often; when a kid has as much money in their account than their parents probably make in a year - some of them!

I was wondering the same, but we're just a few practices in. Maybe that was the 1's, 2's, and 3's for that day's practice.
