He has been at UoM 11 years and gone to playoffs 5 times. Nominated to basketball hall or fame. What are CBB’s credentials?

Larranaga isn’t tremendously better, but if Brownell had a 3 year run like Larranaga from 2015/16-2017/18 I’d at least understand why he still here.

Kinda glossing over an ACC regular season title, ACC tournament championship, 3 Sweet 16s and an Elite Eight (last year) - in 2 less seasons, most of it before full implementation of NIL.
If Brownell had accomplished all of that with his 3 tournament appearances, the ire would be significantly lessened.
And yes, the one Sweet 16 appearance we have was neither preceded by an NCAA trip or followed by one. The seasons don’t build. The only consistency is inconsistency - between seasons, within seasons, and in games.

Nobody compares one coach to another. Larranaga is nominated for the Hall of Fame because of his long career. All you have to do is look at Miami's roster to see it is easier to recruit at Miami than it is at Clemson.

CU @ UNC _ Heels hit 15 for 33 on 3-pointers.
Two days later, Miami @ UNC _ Heels go 5 for 31 from behind the 3-point line.

For the year, opposing teams have made 33.1% of their 3's against Miami

Our 3 point defense is identical to Miami's on the year. Yet you are blaming the shooting discrepancy on brownell. Laughable.

Miami is located in an urban center and they have a very active NIL program so there is no way to compare. I will say that Larranga has a 59% overall winning percentage and CBB is at 61% winning percentage. I would say overall they are very similar.

bought players in the past or in the current environment leads with NIL funds in recruiting and the other is the coach at Clemson. Your point is correct though, Mr. Brownell has failed in the recruiting aspect of his job.

I would say he is able to buy better players and with different personalities than Clemson players.

ACC coaches in one possession games. He consistently gets his guys to finish off games with the best of them. For a basketball coach at a football school, he has a pretty impressive resume.
