Who is bringing a tent for tailgating

I know that IPTAY says that it is not allowed but I plan on bringing one. I just dont see someone telling me that its not permitted if there are only two of us.

I still don’t understand the tent issue, it’s not like you can comfortably fit twenty people under most tailgating tents anyway.

If I see you, we will have a conversation about following rules, after I contact IPTAY. If you don’t like the rule, don’t go.

I understand the covid concern that IPTAY is trying to stop. Its just going to be my dad and I. I completely understand not having a party. Just want to stay in the shade somewhat. Are beach umbrellas ok?

I would not want the job of enforcing where people are sitting, how many are gathered around a vehicle, or asking folks to take down their tents. Even in the pre COVID days, some had tents that stretched into another zip code. Are the mask enforcers going to go off on those that have them below their nose or over their wrinkled necks a la Pelosi? Will there be someone using a stopwatch to monitor how long one's mask is off while in possession of food and beverage? Does a Shibumi shade skirt the no tent rule? I think one could argue it's a flag. Weird times folks! Everyone be safe and courteous. Have fun and GO TIGERS! I'll enjoy the game with my first wife from home. Hopefully she will not enforce any new rules.

I agree. I don’t envy anybody trying to stay in business. And I don’t envy anybody trying to make these decisions. Rules are pretty arbitrary across the board and unenforceable. People/groups/businesses just have to be able to say they had these rules to defer liability.
I’m glad I’m going to a football game in Clemson tomorrow. Hope the rules don’t make it difficult to bear.

Dying from heat stroke while baking in the sun or somehow contracting COVID-19 from sitting under a tent. I'll have to give that some further thought.

It’s looking pretty cloudy right now. Will barely reach 70 deg today. But to the point. Two to four family members under a tailgate tent is not a Covid super spreader event. I would hope event staff and campus police will use some common sense. Now if large beer coolers, a grill, and 15 chairs get setup that should be shutdown.

It’s just democrats pushing their agenda. Don’t let them take away your tents! They can’t tell you not to tent up! Lol
Seriously, why do you need a tent on a 68 degree breezy day?

Why tempt Clemson to implement tougher rules?
Sep 19, 2020, 9:50 AM

They figured out a way to allow some fans into game. Why poke the bear and tempt them to cancel fans at games?
Just follow the rules. It’s not that hard. It’s going to be cloudy and 65 degrees. I’m sure a small umbrella stand will be allowed instead.

Just make it a tent protest and you can do what you want. Am I doing it right?
