Signs of a narcissist: attention seeking, controlling behavior, lack of accountability, deflection, blaming.
Take every chance possible to draw attention to yourself and divide the board no matter the topic. Stir people up against each other. (Narcissists have to keep those around them at each other’s throats.) Then deny what you’ve done, deflect, and blame others for your actions. And when the board is brawling, fly in to rescue the day. Be the savior. All it takes from there is a very few sympathetic followers, a handful of extra accounts where you pretend to be other people who agree with your every word, and board moderators who would rather have you around for the traffic than really shutting you down. A token two weeks in Jamaica to make it look like you’re cracking down doesn’t count. And voila, a “legend” is spawned.

My house, my Kingdom. Co ruled with my wife. I make no exceptions. Not for my mother and not for my mother-in-law. It ain’t bad. We reached a clear understanding 20 years ago.
I don’t go to anyone’s house and dictate terms. I expect the reciprocal.
