Wake beats Nancy
We beat Wake
Wake loses at least one more (I think)
All I know is we need to win out. Who we pull for really doesn't matter. We win out and let the chips fall where they may for the rest. We don't win out, nothing else matters.

I believe if there’s a 3 way tie (NCST, WF, CU @ 6-2 in conference play), the highest ranked team gets in. I would imagine WF beating NCST and then us beating WF would give us the higher ranking of the three.

No, we lose in a 3-way tie scenario. The second tiebreaker is win percentage within the division. Since both of Wake's losses would be intra-division, and us and NC State would only have 1, Wake is eliminated.
Then, the tiebreakers start back at the top. NC St beats us on head to head.
We only have one path in, and it's a 2-way tie with Wake Forest.

No. 3 way tie no matter the rank, we lose. Only way is State loses 3 and wake 2. The tie issue went out the window with state beating FSU last week. Thanks @bretfsu... Jk - ashamed just bad luck FSU had the flu bug.
Wake beating NC State and losing to us and BC only scenario, coupled with state losing to UNC.

ClemsonBlueJay and ClemGalalways are correct ... the only path for Clemson to get to ACC Championship game is via a 2-way tie for first place between Clemson & W.Forest.

probably nc beats wake, and then we beat wake as well, otherwise we are counting on BC to get it done and even though its at BC, not very probable. Either way we are asking for two teams to lose two games in the last four of the season

I say pull for Wake. I know folks are concerned about BC beating Wake, but if our D can pound them into the ground then maybe they will be beat up enough for BC to take advantage.
If not, I’d ?? rather Wake get to the Champ game than Nancy.

1) Since both teams need 2 more losses….Wake has the tougher road with games at Clemson and at BC (who now has their starting QB back). State is likely not going to lose to Syracuse at home…especially coming off a win at Wake. But they could certainly lose to UNC and pairing that with a loss at Wake seems like the likely path. Being in any tiebreaker with State is bad for us. Bottom line is a Wake win leads to a more probable scenario.
2) Wake is ranked high at the moment. Could move back towards top 10 and we could get a nice win and jump back into the rankings. This is true regardless of what happens after our game with them. It would certainly be our best win if that was the case.
