First you have no idea if he wants to coach anderson if so at the college level. Secondly there has to be an opening when he is ready. Finally good players don’t always make good coaches

I don't know, but he will make a great coach. They say he is already coaches guys up now in the NFL. That's crazy. I hope he comes to Clemson one day.

You got that right, CUAg98.
Long time NFL players will have stashed away piles of cash before they retired. Unless they have gambling problems or multiple divorces which clean them out, then they more typically choose the path that Charlie Whitehurst had taken after his playing days were over.
I.e., hunting at every opportunity (like Whitehurst) or fishing or chasing the golf ball, etc.
College coaching (especially HC) is an exhausting job. Unless the retired NFL player has an unusual passion for developing young men (CJ Spiller comes to mind), then he is not likely to go into coaching after the NFL is done with him.

Unfortunately I don't think so. He's likely gonna sign a $20M + contract in the next year which means he'll be able to do whatever he wants after his playing days. I bet he would like to coach, but not everyone wants to do all the other stuff. Being a position is more about spending a 100 hours a week kissing 18 year old recruits azzes than it is about actual coaching.

who had 14 years in the league, all with the Seahawks, then went into politics after retiring from the NFL. Renfrow might be too honest to be a politician though.

Renfro is going to end up making 80+ million when he is done with the NFL. He is already a top 35 overall receiver and one of the best slot guys in the league. He has great hands and and route running so he is set for a long career barring injury. There is no way he gets into coaching. If anything I see him being a supporter, booster, recruiter.

He will be out of the league within 7 more years max and will be 32. He still can get into coaching. CJ did.

I seriously doubt that. Edelman is still playing at what 36 years old? Athleticism ages but hands and route running dont. I see him making around 10 million a near starting with his next contract when he's 28 and playing well into his 30s.

Edeleman is 35 and isn't playing anymore. He was also a little stockier than Renfrow. The odds are Renfrow will be done anyway. Doubt he is playing at 33 after 7 more years. He might want to save his body and his brain. He also might not be the same player at that time as happens to most. Time will tell.

IMO he gets an extension this offseason in the 8 mil range. Even at 33 he'd bank 60+ million barring injury. Happy for the dude. The only way I see him coming back to coach is if an injury shortens his career/pocketbook.

Maybe he will coach a HS and live by the beach and relax. He will be able to chill.
