While Calling UT and A&M, Herbstreit talked about elite SEC Teams

He said there are so many Elite teams in the SEC. He called Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee Elite, but then he added Ole Miss, Alabama, and 'no lie', USuC. A team that had to rally in the last minute to beat a lowly 8-3 ACC Team is suddenly Elite? The SEC grandstanding was sickening before, but now it's at an all-time high!

There is only one elite team this year until proven otherwise and that is Oregon. I expect them to win it all and win pretty convincingly. To me this does echo the SEC bias. How many times did we hear ESPN goobers ask if Bama was the greatest team ever when they had similar teams. All you hear about is parity. Looks to me like one team is head and shoulders above everyone else so far this year.
Texas, UGA and TN can look really good at times but look average at other times. Elite teams don’t do that. Ole Miss looked great this year against UGA and USC. They looked terrible more than twice. Great teams beat MS State by 40.
##### are the hottest team in football- just like they were two years ago. Sellers and the two DEs cover up a lot of flaws for them.

I disagree with Herbie. All of those teams got beat/upset by lesser teams. That doesn't happen when you're elite.
