Which would be best in your opinion...

play a creampuff like BC before a big game or have a bye week?

I'm leaning toward believing we have an advantage over FSU since it's not early in the season. I think it might hurt early on.

Cuse had a bye week before us as well

While we went on to get our O cranked up against Wake. The week before we didn't look in synch against NCST so I liked that we had Wake to get us back in our groove. There's nothing like live game experience to keep you crisp.

You can practice all you want but until the bullets start flying you don't know how your men will respond.

brakes until you've reached the finish line?

The extra week will continue to sharpen their skills and keep them focused with that warrior mentality.

Let those poor, dumb b@stards in Florida take some time off; let them sit around twiddling their thumbs, wondering what to do next; let them get nice and comfortable, all complacent, while actually believing their own hype.

Then let the SOB's walk into the real Death Valley to the sounds of 85,000 uproarious, near-rioting, raging and screaming maniacs decked out in orange. And what have we done?

KEPT THE THROTTLE IN HIGH GEAR READY TO KICK THE SEMINOLES' BEHINDS RIGHT BACK TO FLORIDA!!!!

I like the idea of playing an "easier" team right before a big game. That way it just hasn't been 2 week of practice. But we do lose the extra week of film prep for the given team.

But let me turn this around: Would you prefer our opponent have a game or a bye week? IIRC, it was said that our next 3 opponents have a bye week before us, which as fans, lead us to believe they have an advantage.

So is it just Clemson who plays poorly off a bye week or would we really prefer the opponents to have a bye week before us? That's the tough question
