our 2018 team was one of the best college football teams of all time. We had studs at almost every position.

That's very difficult to sustain over a long period of time and has caused a lot of hand wringing the last couple of years. Even Alabama that had the greatest run in college football history with 6 national championships in 12 years isn't where they were and probably won't reach that level of dominance again.

I've mentioned this on here before but some years ago, shortly before we won our 2nd NC I had a neighbor (actually a distant cousin) who graduated from Clemson tell me we'd never again win another NC and the false hope Danny brought us by leading us to one was the worst thing that could have happened to a fan base. He was quick to pour t poit that his family had a legacy there, but was very cynical in that sort of false intellectualism that can be popular among false intellects.

Has our run of excellence ended or did we hit a bump in the road? I dont know, but please forgive me when I relay this story anytime I see someone be dismissive of future possibilities. I am not ready to give up on Dabo, Clemson or the abilitybof this State to produce excellence.
