-- it will, and "it does" in my area.
Are you prepared to help your loved ones survive?

Before the fire had a huge stash, have again stored in things.

Comes to mind here on the dock today as I look at these tasty critters I could easy harvest with the single shot .410 a friend donated to me.

That was a joke as I don't shoot critters. If I did, Bride would shoot me as we have some tasty fat cats.

Tug if things got bad enough and your belly was eating your backbone, I think you would reconsider.

Single shot .22 with a baby bottle nipple over the barrel end and the others won't even fly--if you make a clean kill

Folks who might make fun of a .410 have no clue.

If you lose power, most of us in the upstate will. Do you ever hear them testing the sirens? Growing up in Central, I could hear it occasionally. It must be really load near the plant. My dad helped build it in the early 70s. I toured it amd the Bad Creek facility in the 80s; pretty impressive.

You're not knocking one of those down with a .410 even if it was legal to

My very first gun was a .410. I was 9 or 10yrs old. I’m almost 68 and still have it. My grandson uses it for rabbit hunting. Depending on the load, it’ll knock a lot of things down.

With issues about Grid going down I asked a well guy to put down a well with a hand pump. You won’t last long without water.
Coupled along with this to have the know how to fish, hunt, or trap are valuable things to have and know.

I have always taught our children and grand children the 5 P’s.

Prior planning prevents poor performance.

Tug has a lot of water right there but a friend told me that there is no way to cook a goose that makes it edible...... but I guess if you are starving.

Helene was just a small sneak peek at just how apathetically unprepared most people are. And here we are 10 months later & some of the very people who said that Helene "taught them a valuable lesson" still waste money on everything BUT the things that would actually help them in a crisis.

That's American idolatry for you though. Many of them eat out a lot & don't have 2 weeks groceries in the house; but boy howdy they got all the latest gadgets, subscriptions, & new shiny cars in the driveway. Idiocracy really was on point.

Since we are in the mood to go around scaring people, what are you going to do when the Tugaloo River floods and takes everything?
