Iranian proxies have launched 40 attacks on OUR military in just the last 3 weeks.
45 soldiers have been injured.
Our troops deserve better. Either get them out of harms way or retaliate in such a way as to make Iran realize this isn’t going to fly.

I think you’re positing a very false equivalency, but yes by being involved, we may get attacked.

If Hamas had launched its attack against the Israeli military with the goal of establishing a Palestinian state I would agree that terrorists/freedom fighters could perhaps be argued.
However Hamas attacked civilians, slaughtered innocents attending a music festival, mutilated babies, raped women and went on a pillage that the Huns would have envied. Their goal was to kill Jews. Their goal is not to have a Palestinian state and live in peace but to annihilate Israel.
Sure there are some who may equate these barbarians with freedom fighters, but whether that is now or years later, God help us, these people are not freedom fighters.
So now Israel is left with the task to either destroy or drastically degrade Hamas which again is committed to the annihilation of Israel.

Makes you wonder what our relations with that region woulf be if we didnt need oil and Israel was never created in 1948. I support Israel 100%, but it makes you wonder what it would like. Would those Muslim religious nutcases still be a prob? It doesn't matter though, because the world needs oil and Israel is there to stay.

Half of these attacks have occurred since our first minimalist air strike in retaliation for other attacks. I wouldn't expect this latest pinprick to deter these attacks going forward.
Again, I would advocate for either getting our troops out of Iraq and Syria which I think a strong case can be made for or the troops and the public deserve a solid explanation for why we are there and what is the endgame.
If there is a compelling reason to have troops scattered all over Iraq and in Syria then they deserve a Commander In Chief that will use significant offensive force to protect them.
