Your oddity...or superstition...essentially something that may or may not fit the views of folks who are fervent Tiger athletics supporters! 
I love my Tigers...and my University. However, I have not and most likely never will care for the color orange...especially as a primary color. I have simply never liked it! And for the record, I don't often wear black, so new or old, 'black' ain't it for me! Trim...yeah, I like.

I know that Dabo and a lot of Clemson fans like the traditional football uniforms (orange jersey white pants for home, all white for away, orange britches for championship games and my favorite one of all the all purple uniforms for military appreciation day.) but I do kinda wish that Clemson had another alternative football uniform like other teams do.
I personally think Clemson would look good in black uniforms but I know A LOT of people hate that idea. Someone posted an ai image a couple weeks ago of an alternate all black Clemson football uniform and I loved the look of it. Though most people hated it. They didn’t like that it resembled the all black unis of Tennessee and Louisville. Which I can kinda understand. I still think it looks cool tho.
I do have a question for you though. What color would you want Clemson’s primary color to be? Purple? Or another color?

a camo uniform look would be cool. Maybe a WW2 themed throwback with the OD.
I'm not a big fan of the purple and orange in football. It looks better on baseball/softball unis than the others for some reason.

I am the same way, really not a fan of orange as a primary color. I probably own two orange shirts, plenty of white, gray, purple with Tiger Paws. But especially in like a professional setting I am not going to bust out a bright orange shirt too often.

Some students would take their duckhead kackis to the laundromat next to Harcombe and request extra heavy starch with a crease. The pants would be stiff as cardboard and basically glued together. Putting your legs in them was quite challenging.
And then after a few years of wear, you then cut them off for shorts. And a grateful dead belt was optimal.
At least this is what I was told.

I do not wear Orange well either, but the heather grey with orange tiger paws or orange lettering is the shizzle.... White Polo with orange tiger paws another win win....

Under no circumstances can you wear two Clemson themed articles of clothing unless you are actually attending a game. Wanna wear a Clemson golf shirt fine, but you can’t also wear that Clemson hat.

I can’t attend Clemson bowl games. I’ve been to many, I’ve never seen us win. Two gator bowls 4 peach bowls, 2019 Sugar, whatever it was in Charlotte, Music City bowl. Lost. every. one. of. them. No more.

Going to games home or away there cannot be anything red with us or the other team's colors. If you packed your red bag, then you need to switch to something else or put it in a grocery bag cause it ain't going in the car. Also no navy/blue clothing. Not as offensive as the red but important if we are playing ND or UNC.

I hand painted a giant Tiger helmet on my basement wall.....so I rub it before games. Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't....but I keep on doing it!!!

My entire freshman year in '80/'81, I got one almost every weekday at the old Ag Sales for the whole year, usually chocolate. They were $1; it was the best $5/week I ever spent. Then I had them more sporadically after that.
But since I graduated in '85, I don't think I've ever been back. I've yet to visit the '55 Exchange.
Btw, the Ag Sales had a sign that my younger bro loved to quote:
"We the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing."

Nice! I worked in the creamery and made ice cream as a student in 1983 and 84. I then worked with the students in the 55 Exchange program from 2020-2022. I called that semi- retirement. You should try it. The ice cream is still made using the same formula and the w milk shakes are still great. But they are not $1 anymore.

This goes more for NFL because there more jerseys readily available, but I also feel that you shouldn’t wear a jersey if you weigh more than the player whose jersey it is you’re trying to wear. If you’re 320 lbs opt for the Dexter Lawrence jersey over the Malik Nabers jersey lol.

I do like ORANGE. In the area around Clemson it is popular. My wardrobe is what ever people give me, most of it is orange.
I was once sure we could not win a game unless I had on my old worn out Clemson tee.
We also lost sometimes when I had it on, but that has no meaning. That shirt burned in the fire.

And I don’t own a red shirt. Of any shade.

The best uniform combinations are orange jerseys with white pants, and all white. All orange uniforms is hard to watch. 😢

My first Clemson home game in the early 80s, an older couple were sitting next to us. The lady gave me a $2 bill with the tiger paw. This was the first time I had seen one. I have kept it with me ever since.

Actually 3:30 is my favorite time, when the sun sets during the game.
But I would take the traditional 1:00pm kickoffs in a heartbeat.
Also- I cringe every time someone starts the CLEM in cadence count.
But that’s not my quirk. That’s because people have completely ruined it over the years.
