What'll be Cade's "salary" if Duke's QB from Tulane is getting 2yr deal @ $4M/yr

He could likely command at minimum $5M next year and upwards of $8-$10M from a school with deep pockets for a 1 year rental. Maybe he gives us a system familiarity and a "I only want to play for Dabo because he stuck by me through the ups and downs" discount, but his deal has to at least be somewhat competitive with market value.

They'll be some schools shrewd enough to offer an extraordinary amount to him (without any intentions of paying him) just to drive up the price so we have to over-extend ourselves to keep him in the fold. That leaves less money for us to pay our other key guys. This is the current dirty business landscape of college football before they enact the revenue sharing rules.

I don’t think Clemson will do whatever it takes, nor do I think they will empty the vault, but I think 2-3M and his desire to finish up with his team would get it done.

He doesn’t take any money he is a good Christian boy and his values and Clemon’s values are the same!!!

Also Rhoback gives him a ton of money to hawk overpriced shirts.
