What we are seeing is because of Clemson

Sep 27, 2014, 4:28 PM

We beat up those guys on both sides of the line of scrimmage all night, and it seems to be showing a week later.

Kind of reminds me of that certain game we played before FSU last year.

We all know how that turned out for us...

If nothing else we offered good film on the noles and gave them hope at home.

what we are seeing is just how bad our play calling was and has shown nc st what to do.

Wonder if their OC makes over a million?
I would trade for him right now

I'm glad we don't run the NC State offense. It exposes the QB too much

should have scored 31 in Tally with a true freshman QB. I don't think NCST could have done that against a fired up FSU team off a bye week.

Should have been up 31-10 with the game in hand, only Clemson loses last sat.

from 31-3....

I find it difficult to understand how bad playcalling

Sep 27, 2014, 4:44 PM [ in reply to no... ]

Would put our team in position to miss 2 chip shots, snap it over our head at the 1, and fumble at the end of the game and still

The fact is, when players such as CJ Davidson and Ryan Norton make uncharacteristic mistakes after playing well all game, you can't blame the coaches. That's player execution. Our proven and reliable players couldn't quite get it done. It happens.

Still take #1 to OT at their place******

should have never been a position for the high snap play. And that was play calling.

Fumble came after the game should have been won by Clemson....because of play calling.

It's like some of you started watching us play

Sep 27, 2014, 5:10 PM

Last week. Since Chad Morris has been here we have ran shotgun plays in goal line situations very frequently and with very much success. I didn't hear much complaining about that the last three years.

The fact is whether he was 5 yards away or two inches away, he didn't execute the snap. That's his job. He didn't do it.

As for kicking, that's another matter. Seems to be you either have it mentally or you don't. We had a bevy of mistakes no doubt but coaching was more than sufficient enough to win with.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yep...

Sep 27, 2014, 5:31 PM

last week was the first Clemson game I have ever watched. The snap was bad, but, as I said, should have never been in that position for that to happen. And to do that several times in a row???

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We snapped it over our heads multiple times?

Sep 27, 2014, 5:36 PM

Our starting center got hurt, bro. Give it up. Our backup center made a mistake in a crucial part of the game. Things happen. If it were up to the coaches he would've never been on the field.

These things happen. It won't bother me one bit tonight as we line up in shotgun and score touchdowns. As we have done 99.99% of the time under Morris.

umm...no, not several snaps in a row. Being in shotgun was the problem

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

+1

Sep 27, 2014, 5:59 PM [ in reply to It's like some of you started watching us play ]

We ran the QB power play or zone read 99% of the time in short yardage situations with Boyd and it was money.

X's and O's had nothing to do with us losing to FSU.

I agree, and I think it's psychological. After that game, they knew we were the better team, but got away with a win. I've seen it happened many times before, and the next week pull a FSU.
