All they really did is change the contract from 5 years from last season to now just added a year to it and make it 6 years. I think what is really going on is, Brad plans on retiring in that span and wants that commitment and also for recruting purposes.

Seemed like a rookie mistake Neff praising him before the postseason. Isn't that usually reserved after the season is done?

Neff did the same thing when Clemson got snubbed from the NCAAT in 2022-23, saying Clemson was NCAAT worthy, and then the Morehead St. debacle occurred. Neff has terrible timing and judgment.
