My mom taught me to see with my eyes not my hands - in other words keep you hands off of things. Usually wen we were in a store shopping and that curiosity in me wanted to touch everything in the store. She also taught me to not touch my face unless I had just washed my hands. It served me well during covid.

I have been focusing on teaching them to make good decisions because decisions have consequences both good and bad and you got to be ready for both.
My son is in the middle of making a lot of life impacting decisions and I pray he has absorbed the lesson.
