Agree, and run that theme out in time... Our standard of living is reduced. GDP regresses. But, the ginormous bureaucratic machine that we built while we were 'rich' is still in place. Progress grinds to a halt. Bad guys rise up all over the planet...
But, eventually that will mean billions fewer people on the planet, so maybe that is success by the left's standard.

The WH has had a good amount of success getting legislative initiatives passed. Was it good legislation? No, but they got it passed -- so to Democrats that's a success?
Crowning achievement would probably be the IRA (failure), CHIPS (unneeded subsidies), or Safer Communities Act (gun control with meh results).
