Hunters dad is a coach. He grew up around coaches.
He was a walk in and seems to have a very high football IQ.
Guy did a lot with very limited physical abilities.
He was an All Pro in the NFL.
Checks a lot of boxes for me.

Agree..
Did more at Clemson and in Pros as a WR than our current WR Coach.
Considered an amazing precise route runner.
Could find space and get open in the pros.
Had to earn his way everywhere he went.
I bet he would make a great WR Coach.

announced as our RB coach, I was a bit curious. CH is one of my favorites and always will be, but he leveraged unbelievable talent while at Clemson. He did not excel as far in the
Pros and I wonder if it was because the talent wasn’t all that was needed and there are mountains of nuances needed to be a successful NFL RB (I have no idea…just a thought). So when he was announced as our RB coach I had some concerns. Like Shaq teaches Basketball centers by telling them to be bigger…how can CJ relate to kids how to do what he did? Not everyone has that natural talent.
Hunter, then, comes from a different perspective. He’s a walk-on turned starter turned multi-year NFL WR. He even said at one point that after college he wanted to Coach. It seems like he would have a greater appreciation for instilling all the little things he had to do to be successful into his WR players.
But of course, you never know. I would never object if Dabo wanted to bring him aboard, though.

I seem to remember him making a potential game saving tackle in 2016 NC game.
Also blowing up a fake punt attempt while with the Raiders.

I’m guessing he is staying in shape, working his farm, and enjoying his 2 kids. He probably will wait things out a bit through the early part of next season and if no one calls, most likely officially retire.
I have no idea what his interests are but could definitely see him in coaching at some point.

First off, Renfrow is the man. One of a kind talent that will never be matched in what he did at Clemson.
With that said, he has made so much money I doubt he would want to coach. That aside, I'm not sure his reserved demeanor would translate well into coaching.

Something tells me his "on the field" personna might be a little different than the one he displays "off the field." You don't accomplish all that he has without a lot of fire and passion burning on the inside. Plus, his Dad was a coach and coached him. Now, that doesn't mean he will become a coach, but he certainly has been around it most of his life and it might have some appeal.
