Why do I need to get the ACC network ? What does it bring?

I guess I am kind of naive. But could someone explain to me why I need to get the ACC network if I just want to watch the Clemson regular season football games? Normally I get Sling TV for the football season and between ESPN, ESPN 2, ABC and Raycom I can see all Clemson games including the bowl games and playoffs. How will that change this year? What does the ACC network bring if I just want to watch college football? Also will Clemson football games that were on ESPN or ESPN 2 or Raycom now only be on the ACC network? What about replays of games? How much more will it cost? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

ACCN won’t cost you any extra directly. It’s negotiated between ESPN and the cable providers and comes as part of the bundle. ESPN gets paid per subscriber, so I’m guessing ACCN will cost around 50 cents per subscriber to the cable provider, maybe $1.
It will be devoted entirely to the ACC, so that means a lot more coverage of Clemson just like the SECN is basically Bama’s mouthpiece.

Extra money for the conference and heartache for those whose cable carriers don't pick it up.

I have seen every game since ‘07 on TV or he ESPN app, except for the Clemson at MD game ‘09 I went to and now may miss the opening game of the season against an ACC team! If I was able to see ridiculous matchups against FCS teams, I should be able to see these.
ESPN is choking on their wallet while their head is up their a55.

Charter Spectrum better figure this out before the Ga Tech game or I am switching to Sling TV AGAIN.

For Tiger fans living in the Clemson-Seneca area, I read yesterday that Northland Cable will carry the ACC Network.

Amen. Support Clemson. Turning on the tv is not the way to do it.
