What does everyone expect from Randall at RB?

Does Randall become a star at running back? I know he flashed on kickoff returns at Times last season. But can he have a 1000yd season this season? I do think he be used in the passing game at times. He will run a killer wheel route Cj will teach that well.

I fully expect DE or Haynes to step in by week 4 and get the bulk of the load.
I can see Randall being used in short yardage situations and goal lines....and schemes requiring an xtra blocker.

I may can agree if Haynes gets back to full strength. Dude was coming in strong last year. The coaches have barely mentioned EZ-E though. Also media has seen Keith Adams taking the bulk of the second team reps. You also have to ask yourself how a WR can just switch positions and beat you out and also how is Keith Adams ahead of him at this point?
I predict Randall plays the entire season barring injury.

He is important and key to sustaining upcoming talent's health....as well as being a component to keep the offense going.

Around 500 yards rushing and 250 yards receiving would exceed expectations for his 1st full year at RB.

He's big and has good speed. He'll have a fine year. The others mentioned already will add to the running game. Remember, Cade can also run.

Everyone is sleeping on Randall.
I predict about 900 yards. A solid year.
G. Davidson has been reported to be learning the play book and word is he’s swimming right now. If you can’t pass block you won’t play. Also reports are that he isn’t flashing elite talent. Some also believe you won’t see him playing to his full potential until the game slows down in his head. I had high hopes for him this season but based on everything I’ve heard the learning curve is steeper than anticipated for this young back.
EZ-E. Hardly anything has been said of him. Only that he’s basically third string. I’m kind of reading between the lines but it would seem that he’s not making the plays to compete for starting snaps. Honestly at this point I would have thought he would have been the heavy favorite to be the starter this season with the injuries and loss of Mafah. The fact that a WR can switch positions and easily win the job says a lot IMHO.
Haynes- If he gets healthy (I have my doubts) he’ll probably take carries away form Randall.
Keith Adams. Good for 3 yards and a cloud of dust. I think he’s sound in pass protection and is reliable.

I expect Randall to get 60% of the carries, but for plays to be called to utilize each RBs talents. I think screens and wheel routes will be with Randall in, hammerhead Adams will get some short yardage work, and Gid will get some zone and off tackle stuff when he's in. Not sure on EZ. But I dont think it will be a traditional "line up and play the position" type of deal. Same thing with the TEs and WRs. I think when you've got Tristan in it will be for more of a purpose, not just "run the position". With TEs, same thing. I expect Betancur to secure the majority of snaps by the end of the year though. His ceiling is much higher than the other guys, as good as they are.

To be a solid, not spectacular all-round performer. Decent production, solid blocking, and above all stay healthy. As the season progresses, to divide his workload more. I think he will surprise all of those who think he will struggle.

Just hold on to the football is my first worry as with any RB, pass pro next. He can run no doubt...

I think it ultimately becomes running back by committee and there aren't enough carries for any one RB to have a huge season.
I'd say 500 yards rushing and another 500 through the air

You think He Be used? Well All I know is what Dabo and the other coaches and players and every media player has told me. He is big strong and fast! Those are 3 great qualities for a RB. He has played foot ball before it’s not like He does not have an understanding of the game. I guess we will find out starting Saturday Night!

Please take care of the ball and 50 to 75 yards a game would be nice.

Better be becuase unlike many of you I don’t feel any of the other returning RB’s are very good. (Not talking about the freshman). I have my reasons for that belief on the other running backs. Adams(no real other offers, family offer, not very elusive) Haynes( only other real offer was Georgia Tech and seems tacked very easy, 1 “great” play was against the Citadel) JG (1 good catch vs Texas) and DE are tiny and tackled very easy. Hope Gideon Davidson turns out well because we have missed on all the original offers the previous 3-4 years. I’m sure this makes some mad, but I think do Randal will be really good.
