Im sure pat mcafee is helping out the show, (otherwise he wouldn't be front and center) but I just think his personality does not fit with the other hosts. Thoughts?

One of the reasons I watch less and less of Game Day every week.
I'm a geezer. They aren't trying to get me to watch them. They are targeting a different demographic completely.
When I see McAfee my first reaction is to yell, "Get off my lawn!"

Have been let go with McAfee as as his replacement. Dude could have been a replacement for Lee Corso and continued the headgear thing himself, but McAfee is too high energy and doesn't fit the panel as the straight man persona that Pollack carried.

Negative, I have tried to watch pillages YouTube since he left and he is awful. Then again I like mcafee. I think he was a breath of fresh air and makes the show more enjoyable. But then again I’m not a geezer as someone else stated. I think he certainly is for the 40 and under.

I used to watch game day every Saturday and now it’s unwatchable. I did tune in for a few minutes on Saturday for the comedy relief the Coots would provide. My girlfriend that doesn’t even watch football, walks in while Macfee is on and says who is that jackazz!

Late in the season when the PO rankings are released Gameday has a certain interest to me but I still don't hover over the TV screen and hang on every word.

McAfee? hey, every circus needs a clown. Sometimes he breaks me up. Other times he's just a sad parody of himself.
BTW, Pollack? I rate him somewhere in the middle of a mannequin, Jesse Palmer, game show host. He tries too hard to show everyone how much he knows. Desmond used to be that way and he is the only role I can't figure. Saban is there to fill Corso's spot. Herbie does his homework and genuinely seems to know what he's talking about. And, as said, McAfee is the clown.
McAfee is not everyone's cup of tea, but like Dad always said, "That's why Baskin-Robbins has 31 flavors"

I try to watch when they are talking about Clemson and the picks at the end of the show. The rest is just noise. That’s why they have McAfee and Desmond - just to fill the time.
